The Salt Lake Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (SLCAGO) fosters a thriving community of musicians who share their knowledge and inspire passion for the organ in Northern Utah. We aim to engage, support, and uplift every organist, whether hobbyist, church organist, degree-seeking organ students, or candidates for AGO certifications.

American Guild of Organists (AGO) National
The American Guild of Organists (AGO) is the national professional association serving the organ and choral music fields.
Guild sponsored activities include:
- a series of examinations for professional certification
- programs
- an extensive list of publications, CDs, DVDs
- learning resources
- competitions in
- organ performance
- improvisation
- organ composition
- choral composition
National and regional conventions are held in alternate years and present the finest performers. The American Organist magazine, published monthly by the AGO, is the most widely read journal devoted to organ and choral music in the world.
