Mark Atencio

Mark Atencio’s degrees in civil engineering from Brigham Young and Utah State Universities led to an engineering career in water resources.

As a teenager, he learned correct organ principles and methods from Robert Young; this experience led to 35 years of personal practice and 15 years of playing at the Jordan River Temple.

Just five years ago he was invited to play for his local congregation in West Jordan. Mark now studies the organ through Brigham Young and University of Utah.

Learning, experiencing, and making friends through the AGO provides significant reward in his life.
