Bonita retired from the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square in April of 2017, having sung with them for over 20 years. She was a writer and editor of the choir organization’s newsletter: Keeping Tab and was a member of the communication team. 

Bonita attended Southern Utah State College majoring in Music Education and playing the French horn. She worked at Day Murray Music (DMM) for 20 years and was the school accounts rep and choral music specialist there. She regularly produced and directed Choral Reviews and workshops at DMM and throughout the state. She has made presentations for the annual Utah Music Educators Association, multiple AGO events, and has served on panel discussions regarding the Tabernacle Choir. 

She currently serves as choir director at her church. 

Harry
Cross

Harry Cross grew up in New Castle, Delaware. He is an alumnus of the University of Delaware where he majored in Music Education and studied organ with Marcia Huber, who was a student of Pietro Yon.

He also received his choral conducting education from Marvin Keenze, who studied with Ivan Trussler. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in History and Art History.

He has been a church musician for the past 50 years, playing the organ, directing choirs and participating in handbells choirs with numerous churches.

He currently serves on the volunteer staff of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. He retired in January of 2021, after 35 years working for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the Church History Department.
